Is it true that you are selling a 4000m netwrap? Surely it must either be a very heavy net or you have lightened the net which would surely lessen strength?
Answer:
Netwrap is required to contain and hold the crop, its weight has no bearing on this requirement, rather its actual strength.

It is not correct to associate weight with strength.

Many things produced with plastics are actually stronger than their equivalent made with other materials, and are lighter. Strength in plastics can come from raw material 'recipe', extrusion or manufacturing processes, not necessarily the 'amount' of plastic used. If the netwrap is strong enough to contain and hold the bale, there is no reason to consider the actual weight of the plastic used, more to consider the strength to weight ratio. Many types of netwrap currently on the market can only increase their strength by an increase in the weight of film used in their construction. This is OK up to a point, except that a heavier weight plastic film used in their construction will produce a heavier weight roll, so resticting the potential roll length possible, and can also risk the roll diameter exceeding the maximum tolerance of 30cms.
