An agreement has been reached between Tama Plastic Industry and Partium ’70 Ltd to transfer Partium’s twine and net business to Tama.
"The deal will enable the Tama Group to better serve its customers with an in-house European source of twine and a new line of netwrap, rounding out the product range Tama is able to offer," says Tim Carr, Sales Manager of Tama UAT Ltd. "The activity will be run by a new Tama-owned company called EPACK, which will supply the well known AgriBull™ products as well as other brands of twine and net previously supplied by Partium."
Partium is a pipe, plastic carton, foil, and a leading PP bale twine and round bale netwrap manufacturer based in Hungary. Tama Plastic Industry is the world’s leading netwrap producer and, through their group of European distribution companies, are the largest supplier of crop packaging products (netwrap, stretchwrap and twine) to the European market.
"Partium’s commitments to supply existing orders of twine and netwrap will be fully respected by Tama, and Partium 70 will continue all the other activities in its factories in Berettyóújfalu and Tiszaújváros in the same way as before," stressed Mr Carr.
