BEWARE OF POOR IMITATIONS WARNS EDGE
TO EDGE NETWRAP MANUFACTURERS

“We are concerned that poor imitations are giving users a cheaper but inferior product,” warns Tim Carr, Sales Manager of Tama UAT Ltd. “Whilst there are many imitations of Edge to Edge, Tama’s is the only guaranteed true product with Edge to Edge™ Technology that is patented. “Edge to Edge is a term we have all become familiar with where netwrap is concerned and we want to remind all users that it is is not only a brand name of the TamaNet™ ZEBRA™ netwrap, it is a manufacturing technique patented by Tama Plastic Industry.” Tama UAT recommend that users should always look for the distinctive ZEBRA™ striped, multi-coloured netwrap markings, which clearly differentiate the net from others and is further confirmation of the distinction of Tama's patented technology. All TamaNet Edge to Edge™ products are produced using this unique European Patent No. 0919655 B1, which is marked on the relevant products. “Our patent is a clear indication of what users are buying and guarantees that the netting provides the performances resulting from this patented technology. Remember, not all netwrap is the same,” stresses Mr Carr. Notes:
1. The European Patent Office confirmed on March 25, 2009, that Tama's European Patent No. 0919655 B1 for "Modified schuss knitted netting" in its amended form is to be upheld and confirmed.
2. Tama UAT Ltd is the sole distributor of TamaNet in the UK market and part of Tama Plastic Industry's European Distribution Group. Tama Plastic Industry is the world’s leading netwrap producer and, through their group of European distribution companies, are the largest supplier of crop packaging products (netwrap, stretchwrap and twine) to the European market.
